Eligibility

Open to individuals worldwide, 18+

Participation is individual only — no teams.
Open to participants worldwide. Priority audience for hiring outcomes and pilot conversations: current students and recent graduates of UAE universities.
Participants self-fund all tools, credits, and hosting.

Permitted tools

All AI coding tools and APIs are encouraged

Use any AI coding tools, AI APIs, open-source libraries, public APIs, and pre-built components.
Tools used must be fully disclosed in the submission document.

Originality

Built during the build window — by you

All work must be created by the participant during 5 June – 12 July 2026.
Core application logic, system design, and integration must be the participant's own work.
Pre-existing personal projects, work projects, or entries from other competitions are not eligible.

Data & privacy

No real patient data. Ever.

No real patient data, no Protected Health Information (PHI), no real personally identifiable healthcare data of any kind.
Use synthetic data, public de-identified datasets, or mock data only.
Submissions that violate this rule will be disqualified immediately.

Intellectual property

You keep your work

Participants retain full ownership of their submissions.
By submitting, participants grant AIMED a non-exclusive licence to evaluate, showcase, and reference the submission for marketing and recruitment purposes.
AIMED may discuss licensing or partnership terms separately for any project AIMED wishes to take further.
